In June 1998, Ms. Loughran established her firm and continued to concentrate in representing business clients.  After a decade of practicing law in downtown Jacksonville, Ms. Loughran left the law offices of Martin, Ade, Birchfield & Mickler in 1998 and moved her practice to the beaches.  "I still have clients from all over the Jacksonville area.  I was surprised at how much more my clients enjoy driving to the beach, rather than to downtown."  Myra thrives on taking matters to court, specializing in trial and appellate work, and especially in handling business matters.  She is also a certified mediator.  "I love the challenge of helping my clients grow and protect their businesses.  And even though some of my clients are large businesses, I enjoy working with smaller companies and individuals."  Myra works in the office with four other lawyers, and among them, they handle most clients' needs.

Myra has lived in Jacksonville, or the beaches for over 35 years, graduating with honors from both the University of North Florida and the University of Florida College of Law.  "I have had my own practice at the beach for almost 4 years and it's amazing how the business community has grown in that time.  I also believe my clients enjoy meeting in our oceanfront office."
